Hello, tattoo art lovers! My name is César Montalvo, and today I’d like to invite you to immerse yourself in one of the creative universes I’m most passionate about: black and gray surrealism.
As a tattoo artist specialized in realism and surrealist imagery, I’m constantly pushing beyond the conventional. I’m driven by experimentation, the fusion of concepts, and the creation of pieces that are not only visually striking, but also convey meaning, emotion, and a deep connection with the person who wears them.
Surrealism is an open door to the subconscious. It is the freedom to combine real elements with imagined worlds, spiritual symbols, cosmic landscapes, and seemingly impossible scenes that, despite their nature, feel authentic and real.
A large part of my compositions is born from concepts that represent spiritual energy, connection with the universe, and the duality between light and darkness. I also explore faces that express deep emotional states, along with symbolic scenarios that tell meaningful stories.
For me, surrealism is not about copying ideas it’s about interpreting your inner world. I listen closely to your experiences, your thoughts, and what you wish to express, and from there I develop a fully customized composition. Each design is carefully adapted to the body’s anatomy, allowing the tattoo to flow naturally while enhancing its visual impact and overall harmony.
